Mad World
Yesterday night at 3:00 in the morning while driving home I actually was listening to mainstream radio again, something I didn't do for a long time. This time at night BAYERN3 goes away and the by far better SWR3 takes its frequency. And this is were I heard the version of Mad World that's played in the excellent Donnie Darko movie, and learned that this is a cover version of the original Tears for Fears song. Excellent Song, excellent Movie.And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad the dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had I find it hard to tell you I find it hard to take when people run in circles it's a very very.... mad world mad world
It's one of my favorite movies and it's definitely one of my favorite songs. I like Gary Jules' cover version even more than the Tears for Fears one. Just listening to it. It's so wonderfully sad.
It's a small miracle to hear it on the radio though, but it seems at 3am no one really cares what's playing and some people with taste can pick their playlists without asking their "music editor"...
